The best bakery around. They have my favorite pan dulce, rebanada. Everything they have is good. They also make food, tortas and tamales.

Really nice staff. I called before coming in and they let me know they had the cake we wanted. When we came in they were making fresh cakes so we got to surprise my boyfriend’s mom with a delicious and fresh cake. The pricing is also good! Very nice and accommodating staff. They also have tres leches cakes. This is going to be our go-to spot for cakes. They also speak Spanish:)

This is the first time I use the term "hidden gem." I walked in here to get Mexican bread. As I'm choosing my bread, a lady walks in and starts ordering. I overheard since it's not a very big place. She ordered something with papas con chorizo, and immediately, I was interested. They told her it would take about 10-15 minutes, which to me means its made fresh. So I started looking around for a menu and I couldn't find one other than Tamales. I asked the cashier what the lady ordered with papas con chorizo. She told me empanadas. To my surprise, they have empanadas and quesadillas at a bakery. So I bought two, waited about 10 minutes, got my food and came home. Not expecting anything spectacular, I bit into it, and OMG! Memories of my grandma's cooking flooded in. The empanadas had so much flavor. They gave me some red sauce, so I tried it on the 2nd bite, I didn't think it could get any better, but the red sauce made it 10x better. The picture I posted doesn't do this justice. I didn't expect much, but man, was I wrong. I'll be back very soon and try the quesadillas and way more empanadas. You have to try these empanadas and don't forget the red sauce.

Idk what Denise is on but this place is amazing. They didn’t have slices available this time that I came in but I got the fruit tart and it was the best freaking fruit tart I’ve ever had. Every piece of fruit was sweet, from the mango to the blueberries. The crust was perfect, not hard and rocky but firm and just kinda melts in your mouth with the cream. It’s not that unnaturally sweet, which is great because the fruit was perfect. Juan is such a great person, and his speciality cakes (which the store was named after) are worth it. They use fresh produce and make the cakes fresh, so of course they’re worth the money. Support your local bakeries, not the ones in groceries stores that are generic and mass produced! You won’t regret it.

Highly recommend this bakery. Clean and coworkers are very friendly and welcoming. I picked up a slice of their cake and a few of their pastries. My family loved it and I loved the sponge cake. Very creamy and dense with plentiful fruit. Extra points: I loved the wafer bottom that added a delightful crunch to the cake. I haven't had a cake like this since I was a kid and I missed it so much! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Prices are fair and they accept card.

Amazing bakery, the Mil Hojas special cake is to die for! It’s layers of sponge cake, flakes, custard, topped with light frosting and peach, strawberries, and kiwi! And then the other special fruit tart, is amazing crust with custard, topped with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, peach, and kiwi! $46/ cake that feeds 10-12 people. Met the young owner he let me try a sample of the sponge cake with the custard before I ordered. Will be coming back. Also he let me know they’re open all holidays!!

I've ordered the 3 leches and mil hojas cakes. Both are delicious. Not too sweet and with lots of berries. I've also had their tamales and most of their bread. This is a very legit bakery with many options and fresh bread throughout the day. The owner (young guy) started making mil hojas cake in his living room and now he runs this place. Nice to see it always packed.
